Lori Denise Garrison, age 68 of Salem, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 in her home.
Ms. Garrison was born November 30, 1956 in Salem, the daughter of Lawrence and Patricia Nice Floyd. Lori was a VFW Auxiliary Member. She retired from GKN Sinter Metals after 34 years and was a graduate of East Washington High School.
Ms. Garrison is survived by her life partner of 23 years, Mike Chandler. She is also survived by her daughters, Tara Strong (Jimmy) of Scottsburg, Cassie Lanham (James) of Salem, two brothers, Larry Floyd (Wanda) of Georgetown and Ronnie Floyd (Roxanne) of Salem, two sisters, Debbie Trueblood (Tony) of Salem, Teresa Hodges (John) of Greenville, her grandchildren, Hattie Belle Strong and Owen Thomas Lanham, and several nieces and nephews.
Ms. Garrison is preceded in death by her parents, and her granddaughter, Hannah Grace Strong.
Services will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025, at 1:00p.m at Weathers Funeral Home. Visitation will also be on Monday, from 9:00 until the time of service. Burial will take place at Blue River Friends cemetery, following the service.
