Lori Grimes Obituary

Lori flew home guided by an arch angel seen by a dear friend hoovering over her vehicle at the wreck site in Tyner, Kentucky. She went home to the arms of the one whom loved her first, her savior Jesus Christ. It was Jesus that had other plans on July 12, 2025, to grant her a flight with the angel to his loving and healing arms. Then undoubtfully the greatest reunion of all Jesus himself has taken her by the hand and placed hers back into the hand of her greatest love, her Daddy James Edward Grimes, whereby in her own words, so many of lately she longed to be with and see.
Lori was trying to overcome many obstacles in life and was winning most importantly she was seeking guidance from her Lord and Savior Jesus who sent the angel to escort her home.
Lori's greatest accomplishments and love in life was her daughters Kendalynn Harper Robinson and Torin Lee Robinson, both of Tyner. Her partner of seventeen years, Allen Levi Robinson. Lori was a loving daughter to Rita Rene`a Grimes Bowling (Vince) of Annville. A sister to James Caudill (Jessica) and an aunt to Jace all of Metropolis, Illinois. Also, a sister to Kenneth Grimes of Annville, and aunt to Silas, Henderson and Kynnber Grimes. Lori is also survived by her paternal grandmother Jewell Grimes and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many lifelong friends.
Lori is preceded in death by her precious love in life her daddy, James Edward Grimes, her grandfather Foster Grimes, her paternal grandparents Russell and Delois Jones. As well as several aunts and cousins.
Lori will be laid to rest at Grimes Heavenly View Cemetery on Thursday July 17, 2025, next to her beloved Daddy. A funeral will be held at the Lakes Funeral Home Bradshaw Chapel at 3 P.M. with Bro. Dwight Brock presiding.
A visitation will begin at 2 P.M.
