The daughter of Richard and Betty (Cooper) Conn, she was born on April 3, 1964, in Alma Michigan. She spent her time as a homemaker raising her daughter.
Laurie loved watching all types of sports and enjoyed listening to a variety of music. She really looked forward to going on random road trips with Melissa and Josh, and especially living in Florida for a time. Laurie loved time with her family, doing crafts, wearing different styles of hats, and not forgetting her love for cats.
Laurie is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Josh) Sanders; two brothers, Michael (Diane) Conn, and John (Cathy) Conn; sister, Lisa Navarro; two grandchildren, Sarah (Jay) Carll, and Roxanne (Marty) Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
Laurie is preceded in death by her parents; husband Fred Kent; brother James Conn; and her grandparents.
