Martinsburg, WV – Lori Anne Kershner, 63, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at Hospice of the Panhandle in Kearneysville, WV.
She was born on October 5, 1962, in Hagerstown, MD, to the late Clifford Gordon and Doreen Mary (Keckler) Kershner.
Lori was a 1979 graduate of South Hagerstown High School.
She was employed with the Department of Veterans Affairs until her retirement.
Lori enjoyed gardening, making jewelry and signage, scrapbooking, and music of various types. Lori also enjoyed photography and was a very creative decorator. She was also an avid reader and writer.
She is survived by her husband, David Kinsey whom she married on August 4, 2007; sons Tyson Shaffer (Emmylou) of Inwood, WV and Cliff Terrett (Heidi) of Purcellville, VA; 14 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Lori was very proud of her grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Stephen Kershner, John Kershner, Donald Kershner, James Kershner, and Wayne Kershner.
Funeral services will be held at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service on Monday from 10:00 – 11:00 am. Burial will be private.
