LORI L. LOCHNER, 61, of Cherokee, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Unity Point Hospital in Sioux City, Iowa.

It was Lori's wish to be cremated with no services at this time. Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery at rural Cherokee, Iowa. Online condolences may be left at www.boothbyfuneral.com.

Lori was born on November 26, 1963 to Richard and Peggy (Conley) Lochner at Cherokee, Iowa. She graduated from Washington High School in 1982. She then attended college to get her medical billing certificate.

She worked for Sioux Valley Memorial Hospital as a medical aide and ward clerk for 13 years, worked at Dr. Thomas Gary's medical office as a receptionist, and had her own business for medical billing. Most recently she had worked for the last 18 years at New To You.

She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

In her spare time, she enjoyed reading books and reading her Bible daily. She was interested in all crafts, making crochet items for resale, and made plastic canvas crosses to handout at New To You.

She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Peggy Lochner.

Lori is survived by her siblings, Kim and Mark Tuttle of Cherokee, Iowa and Jim and Jonnie Lochner of Venice, Florida; 4 nieces Tracie Tuttle of Sioux City, Iowa, Jessica Tuttle of Cherokee, Iowa, Mariah Wamberg (Gwendolyn) of Wilmar Minnesota, and Mikaela and Matthew Kemp of Tampa, Florida.
