Lori Fay McCall

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Lori Fay McCall, who departed this world on October 28, 2025. Born in the gentle embrace of Decatur, Alabama, on October 15, 1963, Lori blossomed into a remarkable woman, nurturing her family and friends with boundless love throughout her life.
Lori, found joy in the simple pleasures-cuddling with her cherished cats, gathering with loved ones around the television to watch her favorite show, *General Hospital*, and sharing stories over delicious meals. Her heart raced with the thrill of travel, exploring new horizons while holding dear the memories made along the journey. A passionate fan of the Washington Nationals, she faithfully cheered for her team, embodying the spirit of determination and camaraderie.
Lori is survived by her treasured sisters, Larri Ann Abernathy and Angelia Ritter, Donald Ritter, Gerald Abernathy, and son Joseph Jones. As well as a host of family and friends whose lives she touched with her infectious laughter and warm spirit.
As we gather to remember Lori Fay McCall, let us embrace her legacy-a testament to love that knows no bounds. In the heartbeats of those she touched, her spirit will continue to thrive, reminding us always of the joy of family, the warmth of companionship, and the beauty of life's fleeting moments.
Lori was preceded in death by: Larry Crooks, Lucille Heffner, Johanna Collins.
A celebration of life will be held 2:00pm Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Alexis Baptist Church - 118 Alexis Church Rd, Alexis, NC 28006. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
