Marie Elaine McCall

Brevard - Marie Elaine McCall, age 60, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 30, 2025.
She was united in marriage to Ricky McCall and over their 43 years together they built a loving home rooted in faith and family. Marie worked in service and healthcare for many years and always sought to honor God in all that she did. She found joy in spending time with family, yard selling, and having cook outs next to the river.
Throughout her life, Marie lived out her faith through service, kindness, and love for others. She was known for her servant's heart as she served as a piano player in several churches and always gave to anyone in need. She shared the Gospel to everyone she met to ensure their salvation.
She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and devotion to God and family. She is survived by her loving husband, Ricky; sons Nathan (Jessica) and Randy (Christina), daughter Stacy (Shane); grandchildren, Abby, Izzy, Alyssa, Gavin, and Kyren; brothers, Tommy (Molly), Heyward (Ruthann), Russell (Sharon); and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her mother (Genevieve Cabe), father (John H. Brown, Jr); son Matthew; brothers, Steve, Dock, and Marvin Brown.
A private family visitation will be held at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home on Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 10:30am followed by a graveside service at 1pm at Shoal Creek cemetery, with Pastor Larry Wilson officiating for any loved one.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Full Gospel Church, friends, and caregivers for their prayers, support, and love during this time.
