Lori McCullough Obituary

( March 9, 1962 - September 16, 2025 )

Lori Jean McCullough, of Aitkin, born March 9th 1962, went home to be with the Lord September 16th, 2025. She was born in St Paul, MN to Janice and Russell McCullough. She was preceded in death by her brother (Bradley McCullough), her grand daughters (Olivia and Savannah McCullough), her mother (Janice McCullough), her father (Russell McCullough) her step mother (Jean McCullough). Lori is survived by her daughters (Amanda Peterson and Amber McCullough), her sisters (Kathie Troester, Rhonda Mayberry, and Cari Philips), her brother (Garrett Wolverton), her cherished grandchildren (Madelynn McCullough, Tristan Olson, Logan Olver, and Liam Olver), and many other friends and family that loved her dearly.

Lori grew up in the Cedar Grove/Eagan area. Lori had a successful career as a nurse with Blue Cross MN for over 34 years. Lori was a devoted and amazing mother. Once Lori became 'Nana', her grandchildren were the apple of her eye. She was so proud of each of her grandchildren. Her heart overflowed for them. She played an active everyday role in their lives. She was the most amazing Nana a kid could ask for.

Lori was a faithful servant to her family and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She loved God. She purposefully found little ways to bless others wherever opportunity presented itself. She always stood out for her great kindness and her beautiful smile.

Lori cherished her life long friends. She always had a warm story about growing up in the Cedar Grove Community. Connie Merriman and Tammy Richardson, she loved you both like sisters.

Lori lit up every room she ever walked into. She radiated positivity and genuine compassion. Her love for God, family and friends ran deep and touched everyone who knew her. Her legacy of faithfulness and kindness lives on with us who had the privilege of knowing her.

A visitation will be held 5pm-8pm on Thursday Sept 25th at White Funeral Home, 12804 Nicollet Ave, Burnsville.
