Obituary
Lori K. Picone, 11/24/1959 – 09/09/2023. Lori was born in Canton, OH; she was a 1976 graduate of Canton Lincoln High School, and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Kent State University. Lori started her own advertising agency, Studio Marketing & Advertising, a block away from where she grew up, before proudly and successfully moving her business to Chicago, IL in 1991. She continued her success in advertising taking over the Ad Department for Chuck Sypolt Chevrolet's Dealerships in the "Windy City" and opened the eyes to major Ad Agencies that she would become one of the best in the Business. That was Lori from the time she was young, never backing down and never accepting second place. She later took on the Gaming World in both Las Vegas and The Atlantis in The Bahamas. Her beautiful smile and infectious will to live life to the fullest made her again a winner in the workforce in an industry that she had to learn from the ground up.
She was an avid golfer, and loved tennis, and recently picked up pickle ball. She loved her family, friends, and her two dogs, Sire and Sonny, more than anything which preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her mother, Alice Picone.
Lori is survived by her husband, David Greenberg, and will be profoundly missed by her father, Guido Picone, her siblings Debbie (Mazzocca) & Vince, Vicki Picone, Terri (Beddell) & Dave, Rick & Marsha Picone and John & Samantha Picone. Lori had huge admiration for her nieces and nephews, both first and great, and a special bond with her niece Erika Homringhausen. Lori never stopped fighting throughout her illness! There are no calling hours. The family will be having a private celebration of life at a later date.
