Lori Ruth Roffo-Pierce, aged 61, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2025, in Broomall, surrounded by the love and warmth of her family. Born on June 23, 1964, in Philadelphia, Lori was the cherished daughter of Gerald Anthony Roffo and the late Nancy Gaul. Her light, guidance and smile will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Lori's life was a testament to her loving, generous, and intelligent nature. She was a beacon of kindness in her community, touching lives as a dedicated daycare worker. Her gentle spirit and compassionate heart made her a favorite among both the children she cared for and their parents. Lori's involvement in various associations further showcased her commitment to service and her ability to make meaningful connections.
Family was the cornerstone of Lori's life. She is survived by her devoted children, Valerie Fiordaliso; Melissa Russell and her husband, Adrian; and Ricky Pierce and his fiancée, Megan Chambers. Lori's stepdaughter, Kim Doroba, and her husband, Pete, also held a special place in her heart. Her role as a grandmother was one she cherished deeply, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and joy for her grandchildren: Jacob, Maxx, Johnnie Marie, Finn, Isaac, and Sebastian.
Lori's siblings, Lisa Roffo; Mark Carnevale and his wife, Kim; the late Kim Wiley; and Linda Roffo, will remember her as the glue that held their family together. Her nieces and nephews-Casey, Mark, Christeenna, Shana, Amber, Mikey, Lexi, and Ryan-will carry forward the lessons of compassion and kindness that Lori instilled in them. She was also blessed with a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who will continue to feel her absence deeply.
As we say farewell to Lori, we celebrate a life lived with boundless love, generosity, and fearless spirit. She embraced every opportunity to explore the world with her kids-traveling to Paris, Mexico, Canada, and Disney-creating memories they will forever cherish. Lori loved weekend getaways and going down the shore, and she especially enjoyed casino trips with her sister Lisa and her friends, where laughter and joy always followed her. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and her memory will continue to inspire acts of love and kindness. Lori's unwavering positivity and her belief in the goodness of people will remain guiding lights to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Lori's life was a beautiful journey that enriched the lives of many. As we honor her memory, we take solace in the fact that her spirit will forever be a part of the community she loved, the family she adored, and the countless lives she impacted. Lori's story is one of love, dedication, and an unshakable faith in the potential of every individual. Her legacy is one that will be cherished and celebrated for generations to come.
Family and friends will be received from 10 to 10:45am on Tuesday, November 18th, 2025 in Holy Cross Church, 651 E. Springfield Rd., Springfield, PA 19064. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in church Tuesday at 11am.
