Lori Ann Sitter was born August 24, 1962 in Los Angeles, California. In 1972, her journey led her onto greater soil in Jerome, Idaho. She continued her education and achieved her high school diploma.

In 1984, she met her beloved soul mate, Dru Sitter. On November 7, 1986 she began her unexpected journey of motherhood.

She enjoyed vacationing with her family and friends and captured every moment in photos or videos. She spent most of her days fishing in Hagerman and trying not to hook anyone. She enjoyed her furry friends and became known as the “animal whisperer”.

Lori became in tuned with her spiritual side in 2008 and her journey became brighter. She was a member of Church of Christ. Her green thumb, which she passed down to generations, could not be replaced, but continues to flourish. She grew her garden just like she grew her family.

Every morning, Lori would have her cup of coffee on the patio watching the hummingbirds feed and flutter about in harmony. She had an abundance of sundials that would greet you with a unique symphony of ticking. During the holiday seasons, she would go to the extreme for her family to remind them of family traditions.

She was precious to everyone she met and she touched many lives in her 61 year journey of life. She may be gone, but we will carry her, as she carried all of us. Your soul is the heirloom of our family. We love you Mom.

Lori is survived by her husband, Drury Sitter; their four children, Ashley Sitter, Amanda Sitter, Kyle Sitter, and Christopher Sitter; her grandchildren, Ivory Fresquez, Natalia Fresquez, Faith Fresquez, Damien Reynolds, Jayden Sitter, Dylan Resz and Jedidiah Collins; great grandchildren, Azarella Fresquez-Hood; son-in-law, Brian Fresquez; and daughters-in-law, Autumn Sitter and Bree Sitter. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gladys and Claude Mitchell.

A Celebration of Life for Lori will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, April 12, 2024 at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 S Lincoln Ave, Jerome, Idaho
