Lori Jean Swanson, 65, of Seguin, Texas, entered eternal rest on January 20, 2026. Born in San Diego, California, Lori spent her later years living with and caring for her parents, Carolyn and Bernard Swanson, who survive her.
Lori was a devoted mother and "Gigi," whose greatest joy was her family. She is lovingly remembered by her three children: Jennifer Crain (40), Nathan Swanson (36), and Holden Swanson (34). She also leaves behind three cherished grandchildren: Logan Crain, Lillian Crain, and Bailey Swanson. Lori is survived by her brothers, Rodney Swanson and Ronnie Swanson.
Though she held many jobs throughout her life, Lori's true passions were found in the simple joys she embraced-creating diamond art, playing bingo, and enjoying slot machines whenever she could. She loved her children and grandchildren deeply and wished for them to remain close in each other's lives.
Lori's warmth, humor, and love will be remembered by all who knew her. In accordance with her wishes, no funeral or memorial services will be held. Her grandchildren will forever carry her memory in their hearts, lovingly remembering her as their Gigi.
