Lori Suzanne Wall, 58, of Chester, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 1, 2024. Born in Petersburg, Virginia on July 5, 1965, she was the daughter of Randal Floyd Belcher, Thomas L. Moore, and the late Nancy Rose Whitehead. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Kelly Mason.
Lori was known for her hardworking demeanor as well as her kind-hearted, giving, and vibrant personality that brightened the lives of those around her. She took great pride in decorating her home, gardening, and rooting on the Washington Redskins. She loved spending time with her family and friends especially if it involved floating around the pool or being on the beach. Most importantly, Lori’s daughters and grand-daughters were the light of her life. Being a Mother and a Nanny is what she cherished most and she appreciated every moment that she was able to spend with them.
She is survived by her loving fiancé, Carl H. Slate III; daughters, Tiffany Riggleman, Christina Dowdy (Joey), Karlynn Cook; grandchildren, Jade Dowdy, Kennedy Dowdy, Addison Dowdy, Bailey Dowdy; brother, Scott Shirer (Kim); sisters, Sherry Mutschall (Mike), Suzette Bowe (Dan), and many other extended family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at the American Legion Post 284, 505 Springdale Ave, Colonial Heights, VA 23834. A service for family and close friends will take place at 2:00 PM followed by a reception at 3:00 PM.
