Of Thompson, PA

Lori Wasko, 57, of Thompson, PA tragically passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at her home.

She was predeceased by her parents John & Eileen Wasko; sister Audrey (Wasko) Maffett; and brother Ronald Wasko.

Lori is survived by her companion Rex Kelsey; sister-in-law Deanna Wasko; brother-in-law Herman Maffett; nieces and nephews Ian & Donna Maffett, Cameron Wasko, Jocelyn Wasko, Carly Maffett and Alex Maffett; uncle George & Sharon Hunt; and many cousins.

Lori was born on October 17, 1967, in Susquehanna, PA and graduated from Susquehanna Community High School. After High School she worked at Matco in Great Bend, PA. Following that she worked at Barnes Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna, PA for over 20 years where she was still currently employed. She was a dedicated and hard worker. She enjoyed shopping and pedicures. Lori was a loving and caring person who adored spending time with her close family and friends. She will be dearly missed.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 5pm, at Hennessey's Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Saturday, August 16, from 2pm to 5pm.

Interment will be in Lanesboro Cemetery, Lanesboro, PA, on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 1pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to True Friends Animal Welfare Center, 16332 State Route 706, Montrose, PA, 18801.
