Andrew P. Wasko, 88, of Hermitage, PA, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, in his home.

Mr. Wasko, affectionately known as "Junior," was born on April 6, 1937, in Farrell, a son of the late Andy G. and Anna (Kernisky) Wasko. He attended the former St Ann's Parochial Grade School and Farrell School District.

He was self-employed for 40 years, owning and operating Wasko's Triangle Garage and Wasko's Used Tires on Broadway Avenue in Farrell, retiring and closing the garage at 79 years old. Previously, Andy was employed at Sharon Steel's former Farrell plant, the former Boron Oil Company, and the former Purdie Chevrolet in downtown Sharon. A hard worker, he was proud that he started working at the age of 12.

Andy was a member of St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church, Hermitage. He was also a member of the Slovak Home, Farrell, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 3767, Hubbard.

A car enthusiast, he enjoyed collecting antique and classic cars, attending car shows and swap meets. Andy liked to socialize and loved talking and joking around with anyone. He was also an animal lover and took pride in taking care of pets.

His wife, the former Georgianna Zurawsky, whom he married on February 2, 1962, passed away recently on October 7, 2025. They enjoyed spending time together, long car rides and going out to eat.

He is survived by a daughter, Andrea Wasko and her wife, Meaghan Gilbert, of Los Osos, CA; two sons, Andy Wasko, and David Wasko, both of Hermitage; and many cousins.

In addition to his parents and wife, Andy was preceded in death by an infant sister and many family members and friends.

Calling hours will be 11 a.m. until noon, Monday (11/3/2025) in St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church, 2230 Highland Rd., Hermitage.

Funeral Divine Liturgy will immediately follow at noon, on Monday, in the church, with the Very Rev. Kevin E. Marks, pastor, as celebrant.

Interment: St. Michael's Byzantine Cemetery, Hermitage.
