Lorie Ann Moody Daniel, a beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away on April 6, 2025, in Franklin, North Carolina. Born on August 1, 1966, in Gainesville, Georgia, she was a steadfast presence in the lives of those who knew her, known affectionately for her nurturing spirit and unwavering dedication.

As a devoted homemaker, Lorie poured her heart into creating a warm and loving environment for her family. She found great joy in her role as a mother and grandmother, and her legacy will live on through the hearts of her loved ones. Lorie is survived by her loving spouse, Cordis Daniel, and her daughter, Kimberly (Danny) Evans. She takes pride in the accomplishments and journeys of her three sons, Timothy Moody, David Saylors, and Nathaniel (Lydia) Saylors, who continue to honor her memory with their own families.

In addition to her immediate family, Lorie's life was enriched by the laughter and love of her 16 grandchildren, who will forever cherish the moments spent with their grandmother. She appreciated the bonds of family, which extended through her brother, Mitchel Moody, and she maintained cherished memories of her parents, William and Glenda Martin Moody, who preceded her in death, along with her brothers, Mike Moody and Kenny Moody.

Lorie's gentle spirit and kind heart touched many lives, and her memory will be celebrated by all who had the privilege to know her. Though she is no longer with us, her impact on her family and friends will remain a source of comfort and inspiration. She will be deeply missed, yet fondly remembered for her love, laughter, and the nurturing kindness that defined her life.

Funeral services will be Thursday from the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home at 2 PM with Rev. Gary Thompson officiating with burial in Grey Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends in the funeral home Wednesday evening from 4 to 7 PM
