DATELINE: ADRIAN, MICHIGAN

Lorna L. Anders, 66, passed away on July 9, 2025, at home, with her daughter.

Lorna was born on August 3, 1958 in Hudson, Michigan to Loren Armstrong and Audrey (Benschoter) Tracy.

Lorna graduated from Tecumseh High School. She spent 32 years working for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.

Lorna married Thomas Anders on September 15, 1976 in Adrian, Michigan. The couple had two children, Crystal Anders, of Perrysburg, Ohio

and the late Joe Anders.

Lorna enjoyed traveling, site seeing, flea markets and garage sales, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Lorna enjoyed watching the Hallmark Channel and spending time with her cat, Jack. She had a great sense of humor, was very loving and compassionate with a huge heart for all people and animals. Lorna enjoyed good food, good conversation and being with those she loved.

Lorna is survived by her daughter, Crystal Anders and beloved "son in law", Jon Harman of Perrysburg, Ohio; brothers, Les (Sue) Armstrong of Tecumseh, MI; two sisters, Lori (Joe) Sprankles of Ohio, and Elizabeth (Don) Falkner of Ohio; several nieces, a nephew, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, that she dearly loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son Joe Anders.

Memorial Services and Celebration of Life will take place 6:00 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Purse & Son Funeral Home, Tecumseh, Michigan, with Rev. Brian Jones officiating. Celebration of Life and visitation will also take place Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 5:00 p,m, until time of memorial service at Purse & Son Funeral Home, Tecumseh. Following the service, food and refreshments will be served, everyone is invited to remain and partake at the funeral home.

Final resting place will be at Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh, Michigan. Lorna's final wish was to have her cremains buried together with her son, Joe Anders cremains.

Memorial donations may be directed to Crystal Anders help offset cemetery costs and headstone.
