Lorraine Ruth Bird

Lorraine Ruth Bird, (82), passed away on March 27, 2023, in Taylorsville Utah. She was born 14 January 1941 in Murray Utah to Delbert P Johnson and Ruth Hazel Johnson.
Lorraine was an accomplished Bowler and competed in many state and national amateur competitions throughout her life, placing first in many of those tournaments. She enjoyed playing cards with her friend's multiple times a week. Lorraine was an avid traveler and loved exploring new destinations. Her first love in life was spending time with and caring for her family. Lorraine will always be remembered as a; sweet, sassy, sincere, stubborn, and self-reliant Mother, Grandma, Great Grandma, and friend.
Lorraine is survived by her 4 sons Boyd Delbert Bird, Jay Alexander (Cindy) Bird, Russell John (Leslie) Bird and Xavier (Tara) Bird; she is survived by 12 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her son Lloyd Bird.
Graveside services will be held April 1, 2023, 2:00 pm Memorial Mountain View Cemetery, 3115 E. 7800 S., under the direction of Memorial Mortuaries and Cemeteries.
