Lorraine Harland (Angers) Graffam, 92, of Middleboro, MA passed away with family by her side on Saturday 6/7/2025 following a brief illness. Lorraine was born on March 2, 1933, and raised in Lakeville, MA. She married Ralph Eugene Graffam on August 4, 1954, and continued to reside in her Lakeville neighborhood. In 1963 they moved to Middleboro, MA, to raise their family. In 1983 Lorraine alongside her husband built a new home in Ralph's Plymouth, MA family compound. In 2005 merging into their elder years, Lorraine and Ralph moved back to Middleboro and built alongside their daughter's residence. Lorraine was married 65 years to Ralph (predeceased in 2019). She is survived by her son Darryl, daughter-in-law Laurie Graffam of Lakeville, daughter Cynthia, son-in-law Blaine Greene of Middleboro, grandsons, Ryan Graffam (predeceased), Ross Graffam and spouse Jamie of Plymouth, Brooks Graffam and spouse Stephanie of Bridgewater, Drew Greene and spouse Candice of Halifax and Keith Greene and spouse Emily of Lakeville, along with eight Great Grandchildren. Lorraine was the oldest sister to Norma DiCarlo of Lakeville, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Lorraine attended Lakeville and New Bedford public schools. When she was raising her family, she loved providing daycare for her many friends and family. She touted caring for a total of 9 children at one time. Before and after raising her children, she enjoyed working in local retail stores. Lorraine was an awarded bowler in her earlier years and an avid Red Sox baseball fan in her elder years. Lorraine was a two-time (breast and colon) cancer survivor. She was a proud member of the Kin Klub, a bi-weekly routine gathering of female family members founded in 1942. The Klub continues to thrive, grow and regularly meet. She also has the self-proclaimed Title of the "Oldest Angers" ever. Lorraine was a communicant of Sacred Heart of Middleboro, MA. A funeral mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30AM on Thursday June 12, 2025, at Sts. Martha and Mary's Church 354 Bedford Street Lakeville, MA 02347. Lorraine will be laid to rest with her late husband Ralph at Sampson Cemetery in Lakeville following the funeral mass. Lorraine's family wishes to extend their fond deep appreciation to The Hannah BG Shaw Home and Compassionate Care Hospice for provided care, comfort, and dignity to Lorraine in her final months. In Lieu of flowers, Lorraine wished and welcomed for donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her memory.
