Lorraine Knaack Obituary
A private family graveside service will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Farmington, WI at a later date.
Lorraine was born in Watertown on November 11, 1939, daughter of Marvin and Esther (Prahl) Platz. She attended Maple View Country School and graduated in the top ten of the class of 1957 at Johnson Creek High School.
Lorraine married Robert Knaack on August 26, 1961 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Farmington by the late Rev. Franklin Dobratz and remained a member until this day.
She was employed in the office of the former Hevi-Duty Electric Company and later on the family farm, taking care of the cows, calves, and cats.
Lorraine is survived by her two children; Greg (Laura) Knaack of Beaver Dam and Lynette (Andrew) Friedl of Watertown; grandchildren, Krystin (Jacob) Andersen of Lone Rock and Brandon (Kendra) Knaack of Watertown; great grandchildren, Micah, Lane, and Asher Andersen and Olivia and MacKenzie Knaack; and a sister, Genevie Voss of Ixonia.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Kenneth Platz; and sisters, Marilyn Buss and Carol Lopez.
