Lorraine Marchand – Methuen, MA
The daughter of the late Janette (Jameson) and William Levielle, Lorraine was born in Methuen on October 28, 1936. She was educated at St Anns. She was a homemaker to eight children. She was employed at Bradlee's for many years. Lorraine enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and doing hobbies and crafts. Lorraine was a cub master for the Boy Scouts and leader for the Fire Girls camp. She was also an avid camper for over forty years.
She is predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Arthur Marchand of Methuen as well as two sons, Wayne Marchand and James Marchand.
She is survived by her sister Jean Lavoie of Methuen, MA. As well as her children John Marchand and his wife Brenda of Exeter, NH, Diane Dougherty and her husband Mark of Sandown, NH, Shiela Silva of Manchester, NH, Dan Marchand of Methuen, MA, Arthur Marchand and his wife Cheryl of Methuen, MA, and Randy Marchand and his wife Melissa of Fort Pierce, FL; 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Calling hours are Sunday, Novemeber 2, 2025 from 2-5:30 PM at Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844. A funeral service will take place following the calling hours at 5:30 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made in Lorraine's name to the American Heart Association either via www.heart.org or to American Stroke Association PO Box 840692 Dallas, TX 75284.
