Lorree Kay Keating, 70 of Ludington, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026, in the comfort of her home.

Born April 26, 1955, in Ludington, Lorree was the daughter of the late Richard and Doris (Hansen) Hammond. She graduated from Mason County Central High School, Class of 1974. Lorree married Michael Keating in July of 1995, and they shared many wonderful years together.

Lorree worked in office sales for Change Parts Inc. for 31 years before retiring in 2020.

Known for her vibrant social nature and ability to engage with everyone she met, Lorree's presence was a light in the lives of those around her.

A passionate enthusiast of the equestrian world, Lorree was actively involved in the Mason County Saddle Club and contributed significantly to Mason County 4H, sharing her love for horses and dogs. Her dedication to these organizations reflected her commitment to nurturing and growing the equestrian community in her hometown.

Beyond her love for animals, Lorree also found joy in dancing. Her love for dancing was contagious, bringing smiles and energy to any gathering. Her spirited personality and diverse interests made her a cherished figure in every circle she was part of.

Lorree is survived by her husband Michael; her brother Leroy Hammond, sister LeAnn Fast; and many other family and friends.
