LORREN E. "BUD" CUSACK

Lorren E. "Bud" Cusack, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and proud veteran, passed away peacefully in Vero Beach, Florida. Born and raised in Rochester, New York, he was the son of Edward and Elsie Hamblett Cusack.

Bud honorably served in the United States Air Force, stationed in Okinawa, where he earned the prestigious Airman's Medal for Heroism. Following his military service, he pursued higher education and graduated from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University.

His distinguished banking career spanned decades and cities-Rochester, Syracuse, Orlando, and Fort Lauderdale. Bud held leadership roles at Lincoln First Bank, Lincoln Chase, Sun Bank, SunTrust, C&S Bank, and Bank of America. In 1992, he joined Stiles Corporation, where he served as President of Florida West Coast Operations and was honored with a 20-year service award recognizing his dedication and leadership in Naples, Florida.

Beyond his professional achievements, Bud cherished life's simple joys: golfing, boating, traveling with his beloved wife and family, and sharing laughter with his neighborhood "Funnis" crew. He will be remembered for his warm spirit, quick wit, and genuine appreciation for those around him.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Elsie Cusack. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Benedict Cusack; his children, Mark Cusack (Jen Peters) and Kimberly Cusack-Acocella; and his cherished grandsons, Zachary and Joshua Acocella. He also leaves behind sisters-in-law Brenda Benedict and Debbie Frank (Mark); brother-in-law Todd Benedict; nieces Kaley and Kelsey Eksten; and many cousins including Patricia Pratt (Rich), Barry Ives (Susan), Jim Eisenhut (Jodi Massoud), Jack Eisenhut (Jessica), Barry Ives Jr. (Valerie), Christopher Ives (Mamata), Kevin Ives (Jennifer), Kendall Eisenhut, Cade Eisenhut, Lea Ives, Zoe Ives, Sanjay Ives, Emily Ives, and Ethan Ives.

Bud's legacy of kindness, courage, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at The Community Church of Vero Beach, 1901 23rd Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960, followed by a Celebration of Life reception nearby.
