Lorri leaves behind her father, Daniel E. and Step-mother, Sarah, brother, Daniel L., aunt, Carla Freeman, and the Blydenburgh family. She spent 35 years as an Activities Director (ADC) in various health-care facilities in Florida enhancing the quality of life for all of the residents in her care. She spent her life serving others using her extraordinary creativity, compassion, positive attitude and love to help others enjoy life. She loved flowers and succulents, movies with happy endings, Disney World, and everything Christmas year round. Lorri loved making people smile. She will be thoughtfully remembered for her love of spreading kindness and joy. Lorri was a devoted Christian and relied heavily on her faith, her family, scriptures and songs to get her through the incredible challenges she endured as she valiantly fought cancer for over 3 years. A celebration of Lorri's life will be conducted at 4:00pm, Friday, June 20th, Northwest Church, 6330 54th Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33709. The family will receive friends from 3:00pm until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the American Cancer Society, Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
