Lottie Pollard

Coats, NC:  Mrs. Lottie G. Pollard, age 88, 6189 NC 27 East passed away Wednesday at Johnston Medical Center in Smithfield. Funeral Service will be 3:00PM, Friday at the Coats Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Bethel Primitive Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Al Warrick.       Mrs. Pollard was born December 29, 1925 in Johnston County to the late Grover Cleveland and Kitty Barnes Godwin.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Lee Pollard; a son, Keith Ray Pollard; granddaughter, Christy Lane Pollard; grandson, Tristan Davies; sister, Excelle Flowers; brothers, Wiley, Wilburn, Layton and Halford Godwin. Mrs. Pollard retired from the cafeteria of Coats Elementary School and was a member of Gift Primitive Baptist Church.      Surviving are children and spouses, Kenneth Pollard and wife, Ann of Coats, Debby P. Warrick and husband, Rev. Al of Smithfield; Danny Pollard and wife, Jenny of Coats, Jody Pollard and wife, Carole Ann of Coats; Eight Grandchildren; Five Step-Grandchildren; Twenty-Two Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews.       Family will receive friends 6:00P.M.-8:00P.M. Thursday at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats and other times at the home of Danny and Jenny Pollard 6187 NC 27 East Coats, NC 27521.      Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to Coats Baptist Church P.
