Louis Adrian Crawford

Louis Adrian Crawford, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, joining his beloved wife Nancy Jean Coleman Crawford, who preceded him in death.

He was born on January 8, 1940, to the late David Van Buren Crawford and Irene Murray. In addition to his wife and parents, Louis was preceded in death by his brother Donald Eugene Crawford.

Louis was a devoted husband and father who enjoyed camping and fishing with his family. He was an avid farmer with his wife Nancy and continued to farm the four generation family farm throughout his life. He was a member of Wolf Creek Baptist Church and served as deacon for many years.

Louis leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughters, Jeanette (Brent) Askins of Rockfield, KY and Annette (Tommy) Stansbury of Corydon, IN; his brother Robert "Bob" Crawford of Wolf Creek, KY; his two dear sister-in-law's Harriet Brooks and Dell Crawford; his grandchildren Daniel (Tiffany) Stansbury, Jessie (Justin) Lynton and Morgan Askins; as well as his great-grandchildren Emily and Ethan Stansbury, Raelyn and Kylie Lynton.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 23 from 4:30-8:00 P.M. at Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home in Brandenburg, KY and after 9:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 24 with funeral services beginning at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Cap Anderson Cemetery next to his wife.
