Louis Diering Obituary
July 30, 1930 - July 16, 2021
Louis Henry Diering, 90, passed away surrounded by family at his home.
A former Merchant Marine from New Jersey, Louis brought his family to the Triad in the late 1970's for work and later opened his own company, Kargil Specialties. He and his wife of 69 years, Norma, built a life that focused on raising their children, spoiling their beloved pets, doting on their many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and traveling as often as they were able. Although we will miss him terribly, we know he is happy to be reunited with the love of his life.
Louis was preceded in death by his wife, Norma, and daughter Karen (Steve) and is survived by his son, Karl (Grace), daughter, Janet Berger (Bruce), daughter, Arleen (Edward Dalton), son, Kris (Ceil), and his eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at Forbis & Dick Funeral Home, 5926 West Friendly Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27410. A graveside service will be held 11:30 am Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Westminster Gardens Cemetery, 3601 Whitehurst Rd., Greensboro, NC 27410.
