WATERBURY, CT – It is with heavy hearts that the family of Louis Dubay share the news of his peacefulpassing on November 2, 2024, at Saint Mary’s Hospital after a brief illness. He was the husband ofJoanne (Zinno) Dubay for 61 Years.
Louis was born June 14 th , 1940, in Ivoryton, CT, the son of the late George and Mary (Sullivan) Dubay.He was a graduate of Kaynor Technical High School and Post College and proudly served his country with the U.S, Navy during the Vietnam War era and was stationed aboard the USS Haynsworth.
Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory, beside his wife Joanne, is his daughter. Maria Brennan and husband Patrick, his son Richard Dubay and wife Michele, and grandchildren; Morgan Dubay, Patrick Brennan, Reagan Dubay, and Sawyer Dubay. In addition, he leaves his brother-in-lawand sister-in-law Bob and Lynn Zinno, as well as several nieces, nephews, and other extended familymembers, including Ramsey Geise and Shannon McKeon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Loreto Church, 12 Ardsley Rd, Waterbury, CT 06708. Those planning to attend are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial with full military honors will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
