Louis "Sonny" Haskins

Louis Cleat Haskins II, affectionately known as Sonny, 68, born in December 1956, in Ft. Worth, Texas, passed away on August 20, 2025, in Pensacola, Florida. A veteran of the Army, Sonny lived a life full of adventure, with a passion for surfing, Volkswagens, and helicopters. He will be remembered for his generosity and unwavering dedication to his family and loved ones.
Sonny is survived by his loving wife, Linda Haskins; his son, Josh Haskins; his daughter, Naomi Simpkins (David Cox), and his grandchildren, Terry, Kaylee, Layla, Zola, and Eli. He is also survived by his father, JB Haskins; his mother, Betty Bombatch; his sister, Teresa Davis; his step-siblings, LaDonna, Gary, and Kerry Meuchel, and his honorary brother, Gary Buchanan, along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Sonny was preceded in death by his mother Donna "Anita" Haskins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South, 100 Beverly Parkway, Pensacola, on August 30.2025. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM, followed by the service at
3:00 PM.
*Guests are encouraged to wear Aloha shirts or T-Shirts and flip-flops in tribute to Sonny.
