Louis L. Jarrell Sr.

Louis L. Jarrell, Sr., age 87, passed peacefully in his sleep at home on hospice care in Mantua, NJ. Louis was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1957 - 1966, during the Korean War. Following his time in the Army, Louis worked as a surveyor with the state helping to build many roads in South Jersey, later becoming a Machinist, working at Valero. After retiring from Valero, he went to work as the maintenance person for the Gloucester County library system.
Louis enjoyed spending his time fishing, and was an avid sports fan, cheering for the Phillies, Flyers, and Eagles. He loved old cars, and was known for being a collector of things, gathering treasures others had discarded.
Louis is survived by his children, Louis Jr. and wife, Sherry Jarrell, Robert Jarrell, and Sharon Jarrell. Also, by grandchildren, Anya, Nicholas, Christopher, Marc (Katrina), Tyler (Brittany), Shaun (Stephanie), Jennifer (Mike), Thomas (Lauren), and Timothy, as well as his many great grandchildren, and extended family and friends.
Predeceased by his loving wife, Lorelee Jarrell (nee Huber), daughter-in-law, Patricia Jarrell, his mother, Eleanor Jarrell, and siblings George Jarrell, and Dorothy Pike.
