MODINI, Louis M. A Great Family Man, Proud Papa, and Friend to All On January, 8, 2026, the world lost an amazing man. Lou Modini died at home, surrounded by his wife and family, after a long illness. Lou was born August 22, 1941, to Martin and Eleanor Modini. In addition to his parents; he was predeceased by his only sibling, Julie Miserandino; and his in-laws, Carl and Edna Palleschi. Lou and his wife of 60 years, Beverly, raised three daughters, Dr. Marisa Bochman (Scott), Carla Shorey, RN (Jim) and Elena Aham (Kevin). As proud as he was to be a father, no title meant more to him than the title of Papa to Elise and Michael Bochman, Taylor and Morgan Shorey, and Emily and Molly Aham. He was uncle to Rosemarie (Miserandino) Larrabee (Clint), Julia and Gino Larrabee, Vin Miserandino (Nicole), Anna and Vincenzo Miserandino, and Marty Miserandino (Keri-Ann), Noella and Millie Miserandino. At his request, his Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 10AM-12PM, in Holy Family Church, 26 Bessom St., Lynn, with a Funeral Mass beginning at 12PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38109. I remember Louis , his parents and Julie back in the 1950s in the "Brickyard" section of West Lynn. He was always a likeable person, and carried that attribute throughout his entire life. His parents were proud of him. Lou lived his Faith everyday of his life. May you be with our Lord forever.
