Louis Perillo Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Yurs Funeral Home of St. Charles on Mar. 21, 2024.
On Friday, March 8, 2024, Louis Orlando Perillo, of Sugar Grove, IL passed away at the age of 25.
Louis was born in Ekaterinburg Russia on May 20, 1998. He was adopted by his parents, John and Cathy Perillo and arrived in the United States on May 6, 1999. Louis grew up in Geneva, St. Charles, and Sugar Grove, IL. He graduated from Kaneland High School in 2016.
Louis loved music, especially jazz. As a child, he learned to play the trumpet and performed in many bands throughout his school-aged years. Additionally, he taught himself to play any instrument he could get his hands on. His favorite was the guitar.
Louis was moved by the words of Jesus Christ as well as the spiritual teacher Dam Rass. He had a passion for lifting others up, especially with his music. He aspired to one day write original music and perform for the sick and the elderly in rehabilitation centers and retirement homes to help lift the spirits of the sick.
Louis was preceded in death by his Uncle Thomas Perillo, Grandfather Orlando Infusino, and Grandmother Josephine Perillo. He is survived by his father John Perillo, mother Cathy Perillo, sister Jessica Lustig, brother-in-law Justin Lustig, and nephew Jackson Lustig.
He is also survived by his Grandfather Louis Perillo; Aunt Diane Perillo, cousins Anthony, Michael, and John Perillo; Uncle Michael Perillo, Aunt Christine Perillo, cousins Celeste Fatigato, Christopher Perillo, and Patrick Perillo; Uncle Louis (Skip) Perillo, Aunt Eve Perillo, and cousins Diana and Jennifer Perillo. He is also survived by his Grandmother Rosina Infusino; Uncle Joseph Infusino, cousins Jacob, Jordan, and Jonathan Infusino; Uncle Robert Infusino, cousins Maria Scianna, Dina Costello, and Robert J. Infusino. Louis will be dearly missed by countless other family members and friends.

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Louis. Although our encounter was brief, it left an indelible impression on me. Louis was a remarkable individual, possessing a rare combination of intelligence, intuition, and sweetness that transcended the boundaries of this life.

In the short time we spent together, I was captivated by Louis's brilliance. His intellect was awe-inspiring, and his ability to grasp complex concepts effortlessly was truly remarkable. It was evident that he possessed a deep reservoir of knowledge and a keen understanding of the world around him. His insights and perspectives were always thought-provoking and offered a fresh and unique viewpoint.

Beyond his intellectual prowess, Louis had an intuitive nature that seemed to connect him to a realm beyond our own. He had a remarkable ability to sense the unspoken and see beyond the surface, making him an exceptional judge of character. His intuitive nature allowed him to offer guidance and support to those around him, leaving an indelible mark on the lives he touched.

But perhaps what struck me most about Louis was his unwavering sweetness and kindness. In a world often filled with cynicism and self-interest, Louis stood out as a beacon of warmth and compassion. His genuine care and concern for others were evident in every interaction, and his words and actions were always infused with a gentle and understanding spirit.

The loss of Louis leaves a void that cannot be filled. His departure is a reminder of the fleeting nature of life and the impact that a single individual can have on those fortunate enough to cross their path. Though our time with Louis was brief, the memories we shared will forever remain in our hearts, a testament to the extraordinary person he was.

During this time of profound grief, please know that you are not alone. Lean on the support of your loved ones and find solace in the memories and legacy that Louis has left behind. May the fond recollections of his brilliance, intuition, sweetness, and his courageous battle against addiction bring you comfort and strength in the days ahead.

With heartfelt condolences,

Elizabeth B.

I spent a lot of time with Louis when we were both at Serenity House a few years ago, and he was someone I considered a good friend when we were here. I lost track of him after he left but I always hoped he was doing well. He was a great guy and will be missed.
