Louis Emery Vozar

Louis Emery Vozar, 92, a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2023. The son of Susan and Andrew, Louis was born and raised in Yatesboro, PA, and was a resident of North Royalton for over 60 years. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy at the age of 20. He valued this service highly and attained the rank of Seaman. As part of his service, he served his country in the Korean War. His home port was in Norfolk, VA aboard the USS Sea Leopard.
Dearest father of Danny (deceased), Jean Carris, James (deceased), Richard (Cathy), Carol (Ken) Greene, Michael, Christine (Lou) Geanneses, and Patrick (Cheryl). Loving grandfather to: Traci (David) Swann, Marc (Rachael) Mason, Kelly Szewczyk, Hannah (Dan) Moore, Kyle (Morganne), Chloe (Luke) Farren, David Greene, Daniel (Megan) Greene, Michael (Lucie) Greene, Matthew (Monica) Greene, Cori Geannese, Anna Geanneses, and Sarah Novak. He was also blessed with 18 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Dear brother of the late Margaret, Susan, Andrew, and Joseph.
The family will receive friends from 3-7 P.M. on Monday, May 22, 2023, at Tomon & Sons Funeral Home, 7327 Pearl Rd., Middleburg Hts., 44130. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, May 23, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 7367 York Rd., Parma, 44130. Please meet at church. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
