Louis Michael Webre Sr., 67, born on October 1, 1957, and a lifelong resident of New Orleans, Louisiana entered eternal life on August 5, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

A retired field service engineer, Louis was a man of many passions and had a heart full of love. He had a deep curiosity about how things worked, often spending hours tinkering with electronics and exploring the wonders of science, which fascinated him throughout his life. Louis found meaning and connection through living history, where he brought the past to life with care and authenticity. He loved to travel, always eager to explore new places, meet new people, and create lasting memories along the way. Nothing brought Louis more joy than time spent in the kitchen – cooking was his love language, and every meal he made was a gift from the heart. Above all, he cherished the moments with his grandchildren, his eyes lighting up with pride and affection every time they were near. His warmth, creativity, and devotion will always be remembered.

Louis leaves behind his devoted and loving wife, Sharon Webre, sons Nicholas Robert Webre (Karen), Dr. Louis Michael Webre Jr. (Dr. Perla), stepdaughter LeeAnne Pipkin (Brady), stepsons William Mitchell Leshe Jr., Lucas Leshe (Jim), and special family friend Jennifer Young.

He was "Grandpa/Paw Paw" to grandchildren: Adeline Webre, Lily Webre, Sadie Pipkin, and Sylas Leshe (expected).

Louis also leaves behind his only living sibling, Alvin Webre Jr., and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Alvin and Mildred Schexnaydre Webre, and one sister Donna Webre.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, Louisiana 70001. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am – 11:00 am, followed by a service. The burial will take place immediately after services in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
