Louise T. Kohl

Louise T. Kohl nee Tama, age 75 late of Homewood, IL, passed away October 27, 2024. She served as an Election Judge and was on the Mokena Park District Board for several years. Louise created the local event Halloween Hollow. She volunteered explaining different art pieces to children at Willow Elementary School in Homewood, IL. Louise and husband David enjoyed traveling from New York to California visiting Frank Lloyd Wright homes along the way. She was an avid car fan and loved her MGB, her G375 Infinity hard top convertible, and her husband's Pontiac Solstice GXP. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Beloved wife of David E. Kohl for 43 years. Loving mother of Zachary (Heather) Kohl. Caring sister of John Tama, Kathy Tama, and Debbie (Tom) Teirnan. Dear daughter of the late Frederick and late Evelyn (nee Bajgrowicz) Tama. Kind aunt of several nieces and nephews.
Visitation, Monday, November 4, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 19604 S. Wolf Rd. Mokena, IL 60448. Interment will be Private.
