Mrs. Louise Webb Lewis

Mrs. Louise Webb Lewis of West Tampa passed away peacefully on Monday, October 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of West Tampa, 1302 N. Willow Avenue, Tampa, FL 33607, with Reverend Dr. Rayford Harper, Officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610.
Mrs. Louise Webb Lewis, a native of Trenton, Florida, was born on March 23, 1933 and was a resident of West Tampa for more than 80 years. She attended Don Thompson Vocational High School and later graduated from Blake High School Adult Evening Program. A lifelong member of First Baptist Church of West Tampa, she met the love of her life, Johnie Lewis, who fondly called her "the prettiest girl in the world." Together they built a beautiful family of twelve children (six boys and six girls) whose love and connection grew into a remarkable legacy of more than 150 descendants. She was both a homemaker and worked as a cook for decades at Memorial Hospital until her retirement.
She is preceded in death by: son, Alexander Timothy Lewis; her father, Benjamin Stewart; mother, Sarah Jeanette Webb Nelson-Daniels; husband, Johnie A. Lewis, Sr.; brother, Willie James Nelson; daughters, Andrea Brown, Yolanda Baham, and Melody Johnson, and nephews, Darryl Wallace and Desmond Nelson.
