Louise H. Raymond, 78, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on August 5, 2025.
Born on September 18, 1946, in Oxnard, California, Louise was the daughter of Ralph Davison and Ollie Pearl (Mowdy) Davison. She carried with her the values of hard work and devotion throughout her life.
In her early twenties, Louise began working at Lily Tulip, where she met Monte Joe Raymond. Their shared workplace became the beginning of a lifelong partnership. Together they built a family and a life filled with dedication and mutual support. After starting their family, Louise chose to stay home to raise their children-Radditz Joseph Raymond, Ellis Lee Raymond, and Loucindy-before returning to work in various roles that reflected her strong work ethic and adaptability.
Later in life, Louise took on newspaper delivery alongside her husband. The two made a team of remarkable efficiency-bagging and tossing papers with speed and precision-and more importantly, enjoying each other's company during those early morning hours. She also worked for Penmac Staffing Services, Wal-Mart, and SW Properties before retiring.
Louise found joy in simple pleasures: spending time with her family was always at the heart of her days. She loved visiting flea markets and pawn shops in search of hidden treasures and enjoyed fishing as a peaceful pastime.
She was preceded in passing by her parents but leaves behind a legacy of love through her husband Monte Joe Raymond; their three children; and all those whose lives were touched by her presence.
Louise will be laid to rest at Lindley Creek Missionary Cemetery in Goodson, Missouri.
There are no formal services planned. Care has been entrusted to Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Ltd. – DeGraffenreid-Wood Crematory in Springfield.
May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
