Nicholas "Nick" Scott Gautier was born on August 24, 1987 in Blair Nebraska. Nick passed away peacefully Monday morning October 6th after a long battle with health issues. He is survived by his mother Judene Gautier of Nixa, his fiancé Frankie Reames of Hollister, his very best friends Jennifer Goode and Craig Patinsky of Nixa and several friends and family. Nick had a boundless supply of quick wit, love of cooking and grilling, and love that he shared with everyone who crossed his path. He loved fishing, hunting, going on adventures and took so much pride in the business he created with his best friends, George and Squeezy's Deluxe Lemon Shake Ups. He was always prepared for anything and would drop everything if you needed him. Nick loved spending time with the people he cared about, sitting around a bonfire and listening to music and enjoying a cocktail. The world is a darker place without him in it. He carried a light in him that brightened all of our lives for the short time that we were blessed to have him. Even though the last year was terribly hard on him, he was able to smile through the pain and never gave up on his fight to survive. Though his will was mighty, his body was not. We hold comfort in the fact that he is no longer in pain and rests in peace with the Lord. Nick will be greatly missed, but fondly remembered in our hearts forever.
A Celebration of Life will be hosted by family, Saturday, November 8th. Location details will be announced at a later date.

Yesterday

I don´t even know what to say. He was an amazing guy to take care of and bragged about his family & friends. Even on his worst days he would never fail to make the nurses laugh. May he rest in peace!
