LOUISE M., (Lauro), age 96, July 30, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Joseph R. Silvestro, Sr. Devoted mother of Joann Rago (Anthony De Marzio), Angela Maria (the late Frederick) Allegra, and the late Joseph R. Silvestro, Jr. Loving grandmother of Gina (Daniel), Marisa (Daniel) and Joseph Francis.; great grandmother of Michael, Daniella, and Angelina. Daughter of late Samuel and Adeline Lauro. Dear sister of Maryann Cagliola, Richard (Naomi) Lauro, and the late Joseph, John, and Samuel Lauro and Rosemarie Hamilton. Also survived by a sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Monday morning, August 4th, 9:00 to 10:15 A.M. at St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church, 9th and Watkins Streets. Funeral mass to begin 10:30 A.M.
Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, Pa.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church 910 Watkins St. Philadelphia PA 19148 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude’s Place Memphis, TN 38105 (www.stjude.org) in Louise's memory.
