Nora Louise Stottlemyre was welcomed by her Lord and Savior on January 5, 2024, at the age of 94.

Louise was born on March 27, 1929, in Rural Keystone, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Guy Marion and Willie Mona (Averitt) Wilson. Louise grew up attending school in Keystone, graduating in 1946. On January 27, 1947, in Sand Springs, Oklahoma Louise was united in marriage to William Leon Stottlemyre. Louise and Bill made their initial home in Sand Springs before moving to their current home in 1968. Louise began working at Fibercast in the human resource department and then later retired. She then began working at Green Country Credit Union, retiring fully in 1994.

Survivors are her husband of nearly 77 years Bill of the home, three children Denny Stottlemyre and Janis of Manchester, Tennessee, Willie Sanders and husband Bill of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Ronnie Mallory of Blackburn, Oklahoma; six grandchildren Dess Stottlemyre, Tim Stottlemyre, Brooke Moran, Sean Baugh, Michele Mallory, Christina Chicoraske, six great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Louise was preceded in death by her parents Guy and Mona Wilson, son-in-law Tom Baugh, and a daughter-in-law Carol Mallory.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 am, Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at the Sinnett Cemetery. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, January 23, 2024, with Chaplain Terry Snelling officiating services. The family has requested memorial donations be made in honor of Louise to the Good Shepherd Hospice at 4343 South 118th East Ave. Suite 160 Tulsa, Oklahoma 74136. Chapman-Black Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements. Friends and family may visit an online guest book and memorial page for Louise at www.chapman-black.com.
