Visitation for Luann Blanche Bistry, 84, will be Monday, May 20 from 9:00am – 11:00am, until funeral service begins at 11:00am at Michaels Funeral Home, 800 S. Roselle Road, Schaumburg, Illinois. Interment to follow at Fairview Memorial Cemetery in Northlake, Illinois.
Born June 9, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois, Luann peacefully passed away May 13, 2024 in Orlando, Florida.
Luann grew up in Chicago and graduated from Carl Schurz High School. Before settling down to have kids, she worked in the trust department at the Continental Bank in Chicago.
She will be fondly remembered for her love of playing cards, dice, and gambling – especially winning royal flushes! When she wasn't gambling, she was listening and dancing to her favorite country music. Luann's love for dogs knew no bounds. She leaves behind a legacy of laughter, fun, and the spirit of one who lived life to the fullest.
Loving mother to Linda Guarisco, Robert Bistry, Ronald Bistry, and Laurie Collura; beloved grandmother to Jeffery Daily, Brian Daily, Michael Guarisco, Lindsay Guarisco, Robert Bistry, Anna Bistry, Ronald Bistry, Sandra Bistry, Luke Collura, Ashley Collura, and Holly Collura; dear friend and neighbor to many. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.
