Luke (Lucian) Paul Vest, Sr., of
Titusville, Florida passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025, at Parrish Hospital surrounded by those who loved him.
He was a Father, a Pappaw, a Brother, a Husband, an Uncle and a Friend to many.
His legacy lives on through his children, Amy Vest Cutler (David), Michelle Vest, and his son (Lucian) Paul Vest, Jr., and grandchildren, Dawson, Katlyn, and Abbigayle, his sister, Andrea & nephews and niece.
Luke graduated from Perry High School, then went on to the University of Georgia and finally finished his Accounting Degree at Oglethorpe University.
He started many businesses and was an entrepreneur. While in Perry, GA. he established his trucking company B & V Transportation. He is best known for his work with Luke's Lawn & Tree Care established in 2000 here in
Titusville, FL. Through this he reached out to many to offer not just employment but an opportunity for fellowship, forgiveness, recovery, redemption and salvation. He believed that we are only saved thru the Grace of God and the acceptance of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
Luke had a way of leaving an impression on everyone he met. He had a big heart, a strong presence, and a spirit that people were naturally drawn to. He could make you laugh, think, or shake your head - sometimes all in the same moment - but he was always one of-a-kind.
He cared in his own way, and even when life wasn't simple, one truth always stood out: he loved his family. And when it came to his grandkids, that love was unmistakable. You could see it in his eyes, in his smile, and in the way he talked about them.
He was insightful and thoughtful, shaped by a lifetime of real experiences. Many people saw a friend in him - someone honest, someone who spoke from the heart, someone who carried both strength and depth.
