Ms. Lucille Gordon Bone

Ms. Lucille Gordon Bone, 81, of Franklin Springs, GA passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at her home.

Ms. Bone was born in Royston, GA on January 22, 1945, daughter of the late Freeman S. Gordon and the late Addie Lou Brown Gordon. She was a seamstress having worked at Wilkins Industries and was a member of New Bethel Church in Royston.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Marcus Wade Cleghorne; and brothers, Ray Gordon, Kenneth Gordon and Roy Gordon.

Survivors include her son, Jerald Kevin Cleghorne of Franklin Springs, GA; daughter, Amy Melinda Stanley of Danielsville, GA; sister, Mary Gordon of Atlanta, GA; best friend and caretaker, Sylvia Lowe of Danielsville, GA; grandchildren, Cole Stanley, Montana Stanley, Zander Cleghorne and Mali Cleghorne; and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Ms. Bone will be held in the New Bethel Church (462 Parham Town Road Royston, GA 30662) at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026, with Rev. Clay Huff officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at New Bethel Church from 1:00 p.m. until funeral hour on Saturday afternoon. During other times, the family will be at their respective homes.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Bethel Church or to Gentiva Hospice at 575 Research Drive Suite A, Athens, GA 30605.
