Lucille Ann Bartosiewicz was born on March 7, 1931, in the Town of Withee, rural Thorp, the daughter of Ralph and Anna (Nowatka) Bartosiewicz. She was raised on the family farm and received her education at area schools. She was united in marriage to Henry Lew, Sr. on June 28, 1951. Together, they farmed in the Town of Withee until 1957 when they moved to Gilman. After Hank's passing on September 8, 1970, Lucy sold the farm and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, bartender, and cook. Lucy later married Howard Geldernick on April 19, 1980. Lucy had many interests, but especially enjoyed spending time with her family. They meant everything to her. She also enjoyed listening and dancing to polka music, cooking, and making pierogi. She was a member of St. Bernard - St. Hedwig Catholic Church and its' PCCW and was also a member of the Thorp American Legion Auxiliary.
