Dona M. Lucht, 93, Spencer, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at the Marshfield Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Christ Lutheran Church, Marshfield with visitation from 11:00 am until the time of service. Rev. Andrew Belt will officiate. Burial will take place in Loyal Lutheran Cemetery at a later date. Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandchildren: Kami Haffenbredl, Mathew Lucht, and Jake Lucht; and her great-grandchildren: Logan, Steve, Jameson, and Averilyn.

Dona was born on December 9, 1931 on the home farm in the Town of Sherwood, Clark County to Oscar C. and Alta L. (Stevens) Lindekugel. She attended Loyal Schools, graduating in 1949. Dona met Gene Lucht on a blind date arranged by his cousin Alan Voigt. They would later be united in marriage on August 11, 1951 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal and celebrated 72 years together. He sadly passed May 18th 2024.

Dona had worked at Thorp Finance right out of high school. Following their marriage, Donna and Gene farmed in Spokeville for 15 years before moving to Spencer in 1966. Later she worked as a bookkeeper in the office at Land O Lakes Cheese. She did just about everything with her husband: they enjoyed their Sunday drives "around the block", she was a big fan of Gene's music, and together they took great pride in their yard and flower garden.

She is survived by her sons, Michael (Luane) Lucht and Mark (Susanne) Lucht, all of Spencer, grandchildren, Kami (Brian) Haffenbredl of Bessemer, MI, Mathew (Kristi) Lucht of Spencer, and Jake Lucht (Joelle Frey) of Unity, great grandchildren, Logan, Steve, Jameson, and Averilyn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gene, son, Steve Lucht (who died unexpectedly in 2010), granddaughter, Stacie Lucht, and her siblings: Dale Lindekugel and Arla Krings.

Memorials can be designated to Christ Lutheran Church in Marshfield.

The family would like to extend a special thanks for the wonderful care Dona received at Marshfield Medical Center.
