Obituary
Guest Book
Passed away on August 11, 2025 at the age of 83.
Predeceased by her parents, Michael & Lucy Bello; brother, Lenny Bello.
She is survived by her children, Anthony (Christy) Rizzo, Michele (Joseph) Tomczyk, & Ralph Rizzo; brother, Kenny (Michele) Bello; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, & cousins.
She filled her days with all the things she loved most-caring for people in any way she could, whether with a hot meal, a listening ear, or a much-needed hug. She found joy in cooking, hosting family get-togethers, playing cards, and filling the air with music and dancing. Her collections and passions were as unique as she was-antique butter dishes, lush plants, shopping trips, traveling adventures, and the occasional spin at the slot machines. She never turned down a Dunkin’ Donuts coffee, anything sweet, a good true crime show, or a sci-fi book.
Above all else her family. She would have done anything for us including feeding us until our pain and sorrow went away, or until we could not eat another bite, because food make everything better. She would listen for hours on end and offered support without judgment and always offering an open invitation to whatever we needed.
She was the most selfless person I know and I am grateful for all the wonderful examples she set. If we were all a bit more like her, the world would truly be a better place. I am overwhelmed with sadness for her loss but take some comfort in knowing she is without pain. To have know her was to love her and we were blessed to call her ours.
Lucy IS in the sky with diamonds but forever in our hearts.
