Obituary of Lucille Luisi
Lucille (Napoli) Luisi, 86, of Vineland, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 30, 2025 at Baker Place in Vineland, NJ.
Born on December 12, 1938 to Joseph and Connie Napoli, Lucille was the youngest of 5 children and a resident of Vineland where she graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1956.
In her early years, she worked as a seamstress and later worked for the Ophthalmologist, Dr. Jean C. Pilet. Lucille was also very active in the Women's Republican Club, where she served as president for a period of time. In addition, she enjoyed going out to dinner, cooking, dancing, watching TV, holidays with her family and she adored her great grandchildren immensely. Lucille was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fans as well as a lifelong member of the catholic church.
The wife of Joseph H. Luisi, who passed away in 2018, Lucille is survived by her children, Lisa A. Groves (Joseph), Carmen A. Vasaturo Jr. (Joan); granddaughter, Laura Carucci (Frank); great-grandchildren, Loren and Livvie Carucci; stepson, Paul Luisi; sisters, Maryann DeLuise and Jane Inferrera and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her husband, Joseph, Lucille is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Connie Napoli; brothers, Frank and Angelo Napoli and her loving dog Bella.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, April 10th from 10:00am to 11:30am followed by a funeral service at 11:30am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Entombment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter (SJRS Donation Page), St. Judes Childrens' Hospital (St. Judes Donation Page) or the American Diabetes Association (ADA Donation Page). Memories, thoughts and prayers may be extended to the family by visiting dlfuneral.com.
