Lucille J. Pieschke, age 94, of Watertown, passed away on Sunday, August 17, at her residence in Watertown. She was the widow of Henry "Hank" C. Pieschke. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 22, 2025, at St. Martin's Lutheran Church in Watertown. Pastor Aaron Odya will officiate. Music will be provided by Deanna Martens as organist.

Visitation will be at the Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. and prior to services at the church on Friday.

Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry Helle, Kyle Thomas, Jacob Buri, Thad Buri, Dale Adams, and Dann Glendenning.

Lucille was born on April 12, 1931, in rural Henry, SD, to Clarence and Dena (Jorgensen) Helle. She attended Henry High School and graduated as Valedictorian.

On August 19, 1951, Lucille married Henry Pieschke at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Henry. Henry left for two years while he served his country in the United States Army. Upon returning, Lucille and Henry started their family where Lucille stayed at home to take care of and raise 4 kids while keeping up with the household chores.

Lucille liked to volunteer at GSI, serving lunch at Great Plains Lutheran, and for Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed fishing, camping, sewing, hunting, and long drives in the country. She would make delicious meals and loved to hang out and play with her grandchildren.

Lucille is survived by her daughters: Debra Pieschke of Watertown, Carol (Milo) Ford of Custer, SD, and Anita (Cameron) Buri of Watertown; five grandchildren: Angela Ford, Megan Seelow, Jacob (Carly) Buri, Thad Buri and Leah (Kyle) Thomas; and seven great-grandchildren.

Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; son, Lyle Pieschke; granddaughter, Sarah Ford; grandson, Nathanael Seelow; parents and brother, Raymond Helle.
