Graveside Service for Lucille "Lucy" Reese, 93, of Roland, Oklahoma, will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 3, 2025 at Upper Camp Creek Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
She was born on September 19, 1932 in Muldrow, Oklahoma to Willie Mae (Dobbs) Ogdon and Callis James Ogdon and passed away on October 1, 2025 in Roland, Oklahoma. She was married to J.W. "Dub" Reese. He preceded her in death on May 21, 2018. Lucy retired from Whirlpool after 28 years. She loved her pop-it fidget, Coca-Cola, and Cheetos.
Survivors are one daughter, Shelly England and Frank of Muldrow, OK; two sons, Faron Reese and Dian of Muldrow, OK, and Larry Reese and Alretta of Muldrow, OK; 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Delcia Battaglia and Jim of Roland, OK; and several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Johnny Reese; and six siblings, Wanda Ogdon, Emma Pearson, Donald Ogdon, Robert Odgon, Bill Ogdon, and Lera Southern.
The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the following special caregivers: Haley Vaughn, Leslie Vaughn, Lisa O'Neal, and Miranda O'Neal. The kindness, compassion, dedication, and support meant so much to us during a very difficult time. We are truly grateful for all you did.
