Luci Shepard, passed away peacefully at her home on September 27, 2025 at the age of 76. She was born Lucille F. Cram on July 24, 1949 in Spokane, Washington to Ervin and Rita Cram. Luci as she was affectionately known to family, friends and coworkers was a beloved wife, mother, sister and friend to so many.
Luci spent her youth growing up with her parents and five siblings in Washington state, later moving to Southern Arizona where she graduated from Hayden High School. She spent her young adult life living, working and raising a family in Southern Arizona and Western New Mexico (Gallup, Bluewater Lake-South and Vanderwagen areas). After some time, Luci returned to Arizona living in Phoenix and later the White Mountain areas of Eastern Arizona. Eventually retiring Lucy enjoyed traveling when she could.
Luci was warm, outgoing, compassionate and strong. She never met a stranger. Luci enjoyed all things that came with being a homemaker as well, she enjoyed sewing, baking, cooking, gardening, hummingbirds and spending time with her husband and family on travel adventures. Her favorite thing in the world was being a grandma, she was excellent at "Grandma-ness".
Luci is survived by her husband Dwayne; daughter, Betty of New Mexico, son Jess of New Mexico; sisters, Donna of Nevada and Gloria of Texas; brother, Dana of Louisiana and Tyson of California; 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Rita; brother, Daryl; sister, Glenda; sons Lance & Eric.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 18, 2025 in Eagar, Arizona. Please contact family for details.
